Production Supervisor - Material Handling

Location: McDonough, GA

Pay: $26.81 per hour

Schedule: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (overtime and weekend availability required)

We are hiring a Production Supervisor - Material Handling to lead warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment in McDonough, GA. This role supervises UAW employees and oversees outbound warehouse operations to ensure materials are processed accurately, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage operations in a high-volume logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse employees to support efficient outbound material handling and order processing
• Ensure all orders are processed and staged according to dock schedules and delivery timelines
• Monitor daily warehouse performance and drive productivity, safety, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with inbound teams to support overall supply chain and distribution operations
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company and safety policies
• Analyze operational data and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate priorities and performance expectations to team members
• Resolve workflow issues and support employees to meet daily production goals
• Utilize warehouse systems and reporting tools to track inventory movement and order completion

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising UAW employees in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling processes
• Experience with SAP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred
• Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering
