As a Staff Accountant in Monroe, you'll process invoices, track payments, and make the numbers behave. This role is perfect, especially if you enjoy tidying records, color-coded spreadsheets, and checking things off the list.

What We Require

• 3+ years of experience as an accountant in a corporate setting or with a public accounting firm.
• Familiarity with accounting software and resulting financial statements.
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases.
• Superior math skills and an analytical mind.
• Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Accurate, thorough, and detail-oriented with an aptitude for numbers.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and follow-through skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal and external parties.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and to set and meet deadlines.

What Your Workday Includes

• Record daily transactions, ensuring the transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger balance sheet accounts
• Assist with the maintenance of fixed asset schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of various financial reports.
• Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and other obligations incurred to assist with the projection of future revenues and expenses.
• Assist with maintaining other financial records.
• Other assigned tasks and projects as assigned.
