  • Bring downstream awareness to upstream design, understanding operational, safety, and implementation impacts.
  • Facilitate technical decision-making, anticipate gaps in system knowledge, and manage justified exceptions while maintaining strict engineering rigor.
  • Participate in design reviews, documentation approvals, and licensing support activities as required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    • Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.

  • Hands-on understanding of system integration, wiring, field panels, control logic, and downstream operational impacts.
  • Proven experience in upfront design work, concurrent engineering, and design basis finalization, ideally in regulated industries.
  • Experience collaborating with customers in a highly interactive, agile manner.
