About the role

The Sales Director is responsible for maintaining and growing a book of business while overseeing the work of other sales and recruiting professionals. Assists with establishing and implementing sales and recruiting strategies for branch. Mentors, coaches, and trains BDMs and RDMs.

What you'll be doing
  • Mentors and trains new and existing BDMs and RDMs on sales and recruiting strategies.
  • Leads Role Playing on a consistent basis.
  • Accompanies BDMs on Sales calls with "curb side" feedback sessions.
  • Establishes a portfolio of candidates by skill set, by industry, etc.
  • Works with Managing Director to establish target account list and takes the lead in opening the new accounts.
  • Helps Managing Director establish and implement sales and recruiting strategies for the branch.
  • Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with each BDM and RDM to set review performance and establish expectations.
  • Reviews BDMs activity metrics against set expectations on a regular basis (requirements, interviews, meetings, starts, headcount and gross profit dollars).
  • Helps with daily issue resolutions and Job Order coverage.
  • Maintains and grows personal book of business.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About you

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required plus a minimum of four (4) years of sales, recruiting, or staffing industry experience required. Prior experience in staffing industry is highly desirable. Combination of post-high school education and relevant work experience equivalent to eight (8) years may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting trends, best practices and methodologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
