How You'll Make an Impact

The Sr. Deposit Account & Membership Associate works closely with the Operations Manager - Deposit Account & Membership to oversee and support the deposit account origination process. This role ensures the performance, accuracy, and user experience of the deposit account origination system while driving automated, frictionless decisioning for members and partners. The Sr. Deposit Account & Membership Associate serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the new account decisioning system (Alloy), maintains system configurations, analyzes data to improve workflow and decision rules. In addition, they support ongoing deposit account and membership servicing activities, including account maintenance, onboarding, IRA processes, and regulatory compliance. In addition, this position supports the identification and implementation of opportunities to automate repetitive, rules-based tasks to improve accuracy, turnaround times, and capacity in the membership operations area.

What You'll Be Doing




  • Lead and support the end-to-end new deposit account origination process, ensuring accurate performance and seamless user experience.



  • Analyze data, recommend, and implement best practices to improve automated decisioning for account applications to meet established operational goals.



  • Recommend and support the design, configuration, and implementation of membership decision rules, workflows, and system enhancements.



  • Test, document, and maintain all configurations and customizations within the deposit account origination system.



  • Serve as SME for Alloy and related deposit/membership operational systems, lead testing, communication, and coordination for system releases and upgrades.



  • Work with third-party vendors on current and future system integrations.



  • Support the use of AI-driven automation to streamline deposit and membership servicing workflows, including account maintenance, exception handling and member inquiries, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal controls.



  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities to automate repetitive, rules-based tasks to improve accuracy, turnaround times, and capacity.



  • Perform and support key operational processes including deposit account servicing, dormancy and abandoned property, membership and account onboarding, Powers of Attorney (POA), IRA and IRA trust maintenance, tax reporting and validation, deceased member processing, subpoenas and restraints.



  • Create, analyze, and interpret reporting on new account statistics; use insights to drive process improvements and support operational goals.



  • Interact with members, vendors, and third parties on behalf of the Credit Union as appropriate.



  • Provide support across business units for internal and external member inquiries.



  • Train membership team members on system updates, new features, workflows, and best practices.



  • Proactively identify issues and resolve or escalate as appropriate.



  • Maintain a positive, professional work environment through effective communication with members, coworkers, management, and vendors.



  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and technology changes.



  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and banking/credit union regulations.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Demonstrated experience applying technology tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks, with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.


  • 1-2 years of operations and account/loan decisioning experience at a credit union, bank, or financial institution required. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Alloy Fraud Risk Management system is a plus.


  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.


  • Strong decision making and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.


  • High level of trustworthiness and integrity.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to use multiple software systems simultaneously.


  • Ability to develop deep knowledge of Credit Union products and services.


  • Results driven, service-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Quorum's opportunities are based in the U.S., and U.S. work authorization is required. We are not able to provide current or future sponsorship.

Compensation & Rewards

Compensation for this role is $64,300 - $74,300 per year with the potential for discretionary incentive compensation based on both company and individual performance.
