Parts Specialist - High Voltage Generators and Power Backup Systems

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Specialist to join our team, supporting the procurement of parts for high voltage generators and commercial/industrial power backup systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the availability of critical components that keep our power systems running efficiently and reliably.

Compensation: Hourly range up to $30/hour - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Procure and manage parts for high voltage generators and commercial/industrial power backup systems, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

- Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts orders, shipments, and stock levels.

- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, lead times, and delivery schedules.

- Verify specifications and compatibility of parts to meet technical requirements.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving procurement issues related to parts availability or quality.

- Support maintenance and engineering teams with technical information and parts specifications.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in procurement processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in procurement or parts management within the power generation or industrial equipment sector.

- Knowledge of high voltage generators, power backup systems, and related components.

- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

- Relevant technical or engineering background is preferred.
