Salary Range Starting at: $16.23/per hour Job Overview: As the inventory specialist/cashier, you will provide for a quality-driven organization and structure of all donations received and selling quality items to the public. You will accept donations with a spirit of grace and provide receipts to donors, ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: High school diploma or equivalent Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed and all background check results will be reviewed. Experience: Minimum of two years customer service experience Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment. Travel: The position will not require travel Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical thrift store environment. Typical driving is within Monroe County, Indiana. Pick-up and delivery will be in a typical donor's residential home. The position will require Saturday work - we are closed on Sundays.
