Site Overview: Our Terrell, Texas facility is a non union manufacturing plant with approximately 40 employees. The site specializes in producing polyurethane foam and other foam products. As a key location within FXI's manufacturing network, the Terrell plant is known for its strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Team members work in a collaborative, supportive environment where continuous improvement and innovation play a central role.



Job Overview: As an Pourline Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the pour line to ensure production targets, quality, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role supervises production staff, monitors equipment performance, and coordinates workflow to maintain efficient and continuous operations.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Complete pour schedule and supervise foam production to produce in-spec foam.
  • Investigate problems to minimize scrap.
  • Monitors chemical and other supplies to control inventory at specified levels.
  • Prepare data and equipment for new production runs.
  • Maintain clean and organized departments to minimize accidents.
  • Crosstrain employees to maximize department efficiencies.
  • Report and record required information for audits and metrics.
  • Calibrate streams as necessary.
  • Complete position required training specific to the pour line area.
  • Understand and fulfill the Environmental Management System (EMS) designated tasks.
  • Complete position training to learn the process of foam making.
  • Participates in disciplinary situations with the crew where appropriate.
  • Able to manage the line for short periods in the absence of the Technical or Pourline Manager at the plant.
  • Expected to be able to troubleshoot more complex foaming problems as job tenure increases.
  • Ability to run simple trials but may require assistance for more complex trials.
  • Assists with the EHS activities for the department in the direction of the manager.
  • Communicate with the personnel all quality system changes and ensure quality system integrity.
  • Encourage the personnel under supervision to meet customer requirements as required by applicable SOPs.
  • Stop shipment and production to solve quality problems.
  • Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process.
  • Direct Supervision of hourly crew as part of the training process.


Skills / Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar Technical Degree.
  • 1-5 Years manufacturing experience with some supervision desirable.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
