Position Summary This position leads and oversees the strategy, business functions, and operations of the Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute (SAIL) of the Department of Medical Education in the College of Medicine. This position will advance and support simulation within the College of Medicine and other University and non-University entities. This individual will develop and implement salient policies and procedures to ensure that SAIL's operations are efficient and meet the goals of the strategic plan. This position will also represent SAIL when engaging with clients and vendors. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Biological Sciences, Theater/Theater Arts. A minimum of 10 years' management experience in healthcare simulation. A minumum of 5 years' experience in healthcare simulation. Current CHSE, CHSE-A or CHSOS Certification. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, management and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master Degree Preferred Demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills Certified Coaching. Demonstrate experience leading and acquiring simulation accreditation. A minumum of 10 years experience in healthcare simulation.
