Here's what we're looking for.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within anautomotive dealership or dealer group
• Strong understanding ofdealership accounting, floor plans, and OEM reporting
• Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial controls
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• CPA preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee dealership accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management
• Prepare and reviewmonthly financial statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Ensure accurate and timelymanufacturer financial statement submissions
• Managefloor plan financing, including reconciliations, interest, curtailments, and audits
• Monitor dealership expenses, margins, and profitability; provide insights to improve performance
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff across the group
• Ensure compliance withOEM requirements, state and federal regulations, and internal policies
• Coordinate and supportexternal audits, lender reviews, and manufacturer audits
• Overseesales tax, payroll tax, and other statutory filings
• Partner with General Managers and department heads to support budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting
• Maintain and strengtheninternal controlsto safeguard company assets
