Step into an Accounts Payable Clerk position in West Monroe and support daily accounting tasks with detail, accuracy, and a touch of magic. You'll manage invoices, payments, and financial records that keep the whole operation moving.

What's Required to Succeed

• 2+ years ofAccounts Payable or accounting support experience
• Experience inconstruction accountingpreferred but not required
• StrongMicrosoft Excel skillsrequired
• Experience creating and managingpurchase orders
• Ability to reconcilecredit card statements and vendor accounts
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

How You Keep Things Moving

• Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and promptly
• Create and maintainpurchase orders (POs)for projects and materials
• Reconcilecompany credit card statementsand ensure proper documentation
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and discrepancies
• Maintain organized records of invoices, POs, and payment documentation
• Assist with month-end closing tasks as needed
• UtilizeMicrosoft Excelfor tracking, reporting, and data management
• Work closely with project managers and the accounting team to ensure accurate job costing
