Job Description:

Description

Skyworks is building a highimpact AI/ML portfolio across manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain. We are hiring a Senior Manager to lead an elite Program Management team responsible for driving execution and delivering measurable ROI from AI/ML initiatives. This leader will design and run a worldclass program operating system-shaping the AI/ML roadmap with stakeholders, structuring crossfunctional delivery, managing dependencies, and driving adoption to ensure solutions progress from pilot to scaled production with clear business outcomes.

Responsibilities

1) ROI & Business Value Realization
* Own the AI/ML value realization framework: define value hypotheses, establish baselines, quantify benefits, and track ROI post-deployment.
* Partner with Ops/Manufacturing/Quality/Supply Chain/Finance leaders to define business outcomes, success metrics, and adoption requirements before build starts.
* Create and maintain value dashboards (KPI trees, financial impact models, benefit tracking, and realized vs. projected value).
* Ensure each initiative has clear "definition of done": production adoption, process integration, training, support model, and measurable KPI lift.
2) Program & Portfolio Leadership
* Lead the AI/ML program portfolio across manufacturing and operations: intake prioritization delivery scale.
* Drive structured execution: program plans, timelines, RAID logs, milestone reviews, risk management, change control, and executive updates.
* Run governance forums: steering committees, operating reviews, and cross-functional decision-making cadences.
3) Cross-Functional Leadership
* Coordinate across Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, Data Engineering, Security, and Site Leadership.
* Drive alignment on data access, system integration, validation/qualification, and operational rollout.
* Anticipate and resolve organizational friction such as ownership gaps, resourcing conflicts, scope creep.
4) AI/ML Delivery Enablement (Product + Execution Mindset)
* Translate operational problems into executable AI/ML initiatives: well-defined problem statements, requirements, constraints, and acceptance criteria.
* Partner closely with DS/ML engineers and data teams on experimentation cadence, evaluation plans, and deployment readiness.
* Ensure solutions meet manufacturability requirements: reliability, monitoring, drift detection, retraining triggers, and incident response.
5) Build the "Elite Team" Operating Model
* Help scale an elite execution bench by influencing hiring plans, partner selection, and cross-functional staffing models.
* Establish playbooks for AI/ML delivery in operations: intake templates, experimentation standards, MLOps handoffs, and rollout checklists.
* Coach project leads and stakeholders on modern AI/ML delivery best practices.

Required Experience and Skills

* Master or PhD in related technical fields such as Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics.
* 12+ years in program management, technical program management, operations program leadership, or related roles; including cross-functional delivery in complex environments.
* Demonstrated experience driving operational ROI (not just shipping projects): measurable improvements in yield, scrap, cycle time, OEE, cost, forecast accuracy, quality escapes, etc.
* Strong ability to work with technical teams (DS/ML, data engineering, software, IT) and operational teams (manufacturing/quality/supply chain).
* Proficiency with program management tools and methods (Agile/Hybrid, dependency management, RAID, executive reporting).
* Excellent stakeholder management: can align executives, engineers, and factory teams and drive decisions.

Desired Experience and Skills

* Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environments.
* Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in manufacturing/operations:
o predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, tool health monitoring
o yield modeling, defect classification, inline metrology analytics
o process control, virtual metrology, dispatch optimization
o demand/supply planning, inventory optimization, lead-time prediction
* Exposure to MLOps concepts (model deployment lifecycle, monitoring, retraining, validation).
