As a Document Composition Administrator, you'll design processes and project implementations and diagnose process improvement opportunities as you develop innovative solutions that will affect millions. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to ensure appropriate understanding of business requirements
  • Analyze needs to determine the best implementation approach, taking into consideration immediate needs and future maintenance requirements
  • Manage multiple work efforts, sometimes with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to apply root cause analysis and determine next steps based on findings
  • Understand and follow standardized processes for managing add/change requests and implementing requests in the letter generation system
  • Collaborate with other Document Composition Administrators regarding letter template design and development
  • Develop new templates and/or change templates for approved letter requests
  • Leverage functionality of the letter generation tool to reuse templates and variable text where appropriate
  • Thoroughly test additions/changes and present completed templates to business owners for acceptance and sign-off
  • Promote tested letter templates to production
  • Communicate changes to end users
  • Analyze inventory and identity opportunities to streamline, decommission, combine, etc.
  • Summarize results / recommendations and present findings to the lead
  • Ensure consistency in library structure, letter template naming conventions, variable usage and naming conventions, etc.
  • Construct complex logic statements and table retrieval logic to accommodate dynamic business rules
  • Maintain enterprise-level branding rules applied to all letters
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of user and workgroup security

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience with customer communications management (CCM) tools
  • 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following applications where logic statements are applied to solve business rules:
    • SQL
    • Quadient
    • Client Letter
    • MS Access
    • Crystal Reports
    • ETL tools
  • 5+ years of experience with MS Word
  • Understanding of computer science and coding concepts, math, accounting and/or financial principles
  • Proven solution-oriented business analysis background
  • Currently employed by UHG or are currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 5+ years of experience with Client Letter

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
