Description

We are looking for a Logistics Technician to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Logistics Technician at our railing warehouse, you could be responsible for managing the loading and shipping of finished goods via truck and rail, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring the organization and integrity of the finished goods yard and warehouse. This role is a key member of our Operations team.

We are looking for a Logistics Technician to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Logistics Technician, you'll be responsible for managing the loading and shipping of finished goods via truck and rail, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring the organization and integrity of the finished goods yard and warehouse. This role is a key member of our Operations team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
  • Maintains safe and effective performance in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment safely
  • Efficiently stack and store merchandise.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Perform picking duties efficiently and meet customer service standards.
  • Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck or other power equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
  • Generate paperwork and interact with drivers for outbound shipments.
  • Support regular inventory counts.
  • Participate in logistics-related project teams.

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Participate in logistics-related project teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



EXPERIENCE

Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Forklift experience

Detail-oriented

Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and ability to organize

Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel

Experience in a warehouse / factory environment

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Minimum Qualifications:

Forklift certification and at least 2 years of experience operating a forklift

Familiarity with barcoding and inventory systems

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and time management

Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance
