MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I

Summary/Objective:
Responsible for safely and effectively maintaining assets to support operational requirements, including production equipment,
systems, and facilities items. Must adhere to LCI core values, safety guidelines, and all initiatives. Must be able to communicate
effectively with different partners, both internal to maintenance and outside of the maintenance organization, including using
systems to log actions for closure, follow-up, and for the creation of asset history.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation

below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to safely and effectively use power and hand tools including basic shop tools, welders, and other non-CNC equipment
    that may be necessary in the fabrication of new or repaired components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
  • Ability to safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair facility items including potable, sanitary, and storm water systems,
    basic HVAC equipment, all types of doors, guard rails, hoist equipment, dock locks, levelers, and curtains, etc.
  • Ability to safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic components of
    equipment - including welding equipment, torches, saws, conveyance, environmental control systems (dust, fumes, etc.),
    paint application equipment, compressors, dryers, etc.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • An active position; Repetitive use of hands during troubleshooting and repair activities. The team member will regularly be
    standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
  • May be subjected to outside conditions for a considerable amount of time.
  • May need to work from elevated work surfaces (ladders, lifts).
  • May be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet conditions.\Basic knowledge of machines, equipment, and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to complete LCI training requirements for the role - including but not limited to New Hire Safety Training,
    OSHA-approved training for forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts, Lockout/Tagout training, Electrical Safe Work Practices
    Training, NFPA70E Training, Fall Hazard Training, Confined Space Training, Hot Work Training, CMMS training, etc.
  • Must have familiarity with work described in Duties and Responsibilities, including knowledge of and experience servicing
    robotic systems, PLCs, sensors, scanners, actuators, motors, pumps, etc.
  • Must have either completed a Lippert Apprenticeship Program or be able to demonstrate 2-4 years of applicable experience
    that is aligned with the Duties and Responsibilities of this role.

  • Good housekeeping and able to adhere to the implementation and sustaining of 5s procedures.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to prioritize and adapt to changes throughout the day.
  • Must have honesty and integrity with the entire maintenance organization to create trust and support a passion for winning.
  • Must be reliable and prompt.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This role does not have any direct, supervisory responsibilities. However, the role is always responsible for collaboration at all levels
of the maintenance organization, with an emphasis on coaching and learning among levels.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, hourly position. Hours of work and days are based upon the need to support operations and production. Team
members must be willing and able to work any shift required to support operations, including the potential to be assigned a nontraditional, alternative work schedule. Some overtime and weekend work will be mandatory.

Travel:
Travel is extremely rare for this position. However, it may be necessary to occasionally perform duties and job functions at other
buildings and locations within a very close proximity.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent, at minimum.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
