Health Solutions Account Executive, Private Equity

Aon's Health Solutions team helps clients strategically develop, implement, and manage their employee health and welfare programs. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions.

In this role, you will serve as the project and strategic lead for our Private Equity clients' portfolio companies.Working with junior team members, you will help drive strategy, ensure client's plan compliant, needs are addressed, and completion of special projects related to M&A activities. A typical day will include reviewing reports andclient presentations,facilitating and participating in client meetings, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring that the team is meeting all deadlines.

This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in the New York City office 2-3 days per week.

What the day will look like

  • Own and manage client relationships, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all services through effective use of the client delivery team.
  • Lead overall client strategy, including carrier renewal negotiations and ongoing plan management.
  • Maintain regular communication with senior client stakeholders to address service issues and proactively manage expectations.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with internal colleagues and external vendors.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives, plan implementations, and benefits analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, clearly communicating impacts to clients.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings, maintaining up-to-date activity logs and timely issue resolution; travel as required.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven analysis to support informed client decision-making.
  • Collaborate with financial teams and subject matter experts on projections, contribution modeling, and reporting.
  • Review monthly financial results and support development of plan projections and employee contribution scenarios.
  • Delegate effectively, coach and mentor team members, and serve as a strategic resource to the team.
  • Drive growth and expansion of client relationships, proactively introducing innovative market solutions as appropriate.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Understanding of the healthcare marketplace with 10+years' experience in Health and Benefits and/or experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm
  • Lead strategic client relationships for complex health and welfare programs, delivering compliant, highquality solutions
  • Drive carrier renewals, plan strategy, and ongoing benefits management for portfolio companies
  • Provide datadriven financial analysis, including contribution modeling, projections, and underwriting support
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in fastpaced, M&Adriven environments
  • Partner crossfunctionally with internal teams and external vendors to execute plan implementations and marketing initiatives
  • Mentor and delegate to junior team members while serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders

Pay Transparency Laws:

Salary range for the position

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $185,00.00 - $195,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
