What You Will Do:
- Lead Capital Markets transformation initiatives across front, middle, and backoffice functions, with emphasis on:
- Trade lifecycle management
- Trade capture, verification, and confirmation
- Settlements and clearing
- Collateral, margin, and treasury operations
- Client onboarding
- Regulatory operations
- Assess currentstate operational workflows to identify process weaknesses, control gaps, and opportunities for redesign or automation.
- Develop futurestate operating models and transformation roadmaps aligned to industry best practices, regulatory expectations, and evolving market infrastructure.
- Partner with technology teams to modernize key platforms supporting trading, market operations, and support functions (e.g., trade processing, settlements, data platforms).
- Strengthen data flow and operational controls, improving data quality, exception management, and reporting across the trade lifecycle.
- Translate complex operational data into actionable insights, creating interactive dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Power BI) to surface trends, root causes, and performance metrics.
- Identify workflow optimization and automation opportunities, including process digitization, workflow tools, RPA, and operational risk/control enhancements.
- Lead endtoend project delivery, including scoping, resourcing, budgeting, issue/risk management, and execution of deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and delivery excellence.
- Exercise independent decisionmaking across engagements-strategy, risk identification, issue resolution, and quality assurance.
- Proactively identify business development opportunities and support client pursuit efforts to expand market presence.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing team members
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with significant exposure to capital markets transformation, including trade lifecycle processes, market operations, and related functions.
- Experience in a clientfacing consulting or advisory role, leading complex workstreams or largescale projects
- Strong technical understanding of capital markets, including:
- Trading products
- Trade capture through settlement
- Market infrastructure
- Operational control frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience in operational transformation, including process redesign, operating model development, platform modernization, and workflow/automation tools
- Experience working with large global banking institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Demonstrated success in business development and contributing to practice or revenue growth
- Experience working at a Big Four firm
New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
