Project Manager (FOIA)

GCC Technologies is looking for a Project Manager to support a large FOIA contract supporting the Department of Veteran Affairs. This is for a pending proposal and position availability is contingent upon contract award. The contract has both onsite and remote flexibility and will be supporting the Washington DC office.

The Project Manager will oversee all FOIA program activities, ensuring contract deliverables, workflow performance, and system operations meet VA requirements. The PM will be responsible for managing staffing, schedules, risks quality control, and communication with the COR and Government leadership. The PM must be fully versed in the FOIA processing, Lifecyle management, and program execution and must be able to identify issues early and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor Degree (4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for degree)
• 3 years managing teams or federal support operations
• 1 year of experience supporting FOIA, records management, privacy programs, or similar compliance functions.
• PMP desired (Direct FOIA Management experience may substitute for PMP)

Duties:

• Ability to oversee staff, track performance metrics, maintain schedules, and report status to the COR.
• Familiarity with FOIA case management systems (any brand), with the ability to learn VA's system quickly.
• Experience identifying operational risks and coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to interface with VA leadership and supporting organizations

English Language Requirement: The Contractor shall ensure all personnel performing under this

contract are able to read, write, and speak English fluently. All personnel must have the ability to

effectively communicate orally via telephone and MS Teams communications as well as via email

communications.
