The Manager of Software Test Engineering has a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology. Responsibility
  1. Lead and manage a team of software test engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans to ensure the quality and reliability of healthcare software products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  4. Oversee the design, development, and execution of automated and manual test cases.
  5. Monitor and report on testing progress, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly those relevant to healthcare software.
  7. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  8. Manage testing resources, including budgeting, scheduling, and allocation of tasks.
  9. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and healthcare technology.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in software testing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  3. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  4. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  5. Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
