We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior CAD Specialist to play a crucial role in managing essential documentation and project reviews. Candidates must have experience supporting facilities or manufacturing drawings.

as well as experience working with equipment, electrical, and plumbing drawings. You will directly contribute to the seamless execution of critical infrastructure projects, bringing your expertise to the forefront and supporting the continuous evolution of our client's facilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth progression of critical infrastructure projects and maintaining up-to-date facility documentation. Your contributions will directly support operational efficiency and compliance within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



  • Compile and prepare comprehensive permit packages for submission to regulatory bodies.
  • Review existing project documentation, including equipment placements and utility call-outs.
  • Update and maintain current state drawings to reflect ongoing changes and project progress.
  • Collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team to achieve project objectives.
  • Potentially travel to support project needs at various facilities.


Qualifications



  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience utilizing 2D and 3D AutoCAD.
  • Proven experience supporting facilities or manufacturing drawing requirements.
  • Familiarity with equipment, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • A degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though not a strict requirement.
  • Proactive and self-starting work ethic.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences
  • CAD certification is a desired skill
  • Experience in vendor relations is a desired skill
