Job Description Summary:

The Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst is the liaison between the technical team and the business user groups responsible for projects to improve efficiency and functionality with the Supply Chain teams. The Supply Chain Business Analyst plays a key role in analyzing and optimizing the supply chain operations and processes for the organization through the interpretation of data to drive strategic decisions. This position is responsible for gathering and interpreting data, identifying trends, creating reports and dashboards, and working cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives. Additionally, this position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, modification and upgrade of projects affecting the automated Supply Chain applications. The incumbent is tasked with translating the business requirements into a technical solution.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for all Supply Chain related business systems.
  • Lead the ERP procurement production support, maintenance, user security authorizations, and third-party portals.
  • Gather requirements, create dashboards and reports, write complex SQL queries to extract insights, create data visualizations (e.g. metrics), and optimize business processes.
  • Provide Supply Chain data warehouse reporting, ERP query reporting to support leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and other requests.
  • Manage ERP workflow signature authorizations for Supply Chain processes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend operational improvements, system changes, and automation opportunities.
  • Generates requirements documents to communicate process workflows and data/functional needs to both business stakeholders and technical staff.
  • Coordinates and monitors activities of Supply Chain personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule.
  • Leads and performs the development and execution of user acceptance test plans, user documentation and implementation for new system functionality.
  • Prepares and conducts system functionality training.
  • Assist users in troubleshooting system related problems and offers solutions.
  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
  • Participates in related systems development efforts as needed to provide input and contribute to a comprehensive development strategy.

Skills/Abilities

  • Must be able to translating business requirements into technical specifications, documentation, and user stories.
  • Experience with ERP (preferably PeopleSoft), inventory management, and MRP/MES production related systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (queries, data modeling).
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI), Excel, and database systems (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Ability to analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Understanding of business operations, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
  • Possess the ability to perform work functions in a timely and well-organized manner with limited oversight.
  • Collaborate effectively with different functional teams on a variety of topics.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred

Experience

  • 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, preferably in government acquisition.

Additional Job Description:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$95,000.00 - $245,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
