Electrical Engineer Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Pay Rate: Up to $60.00/hour We are hiring 3 hands-on Electrical Engineers for a high-impact medical device integration project. This role is ideal for engineers with strong PCB design, circuit development, and testing experience who take full ownership of their work-from design through validation. This is not a management role-we're looking for true builders with 7-10 years of hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test electrical circuits and multi-layer PCB layouts Lead design remediation and product refinement for implantable medical devices Perform failure analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations Identify compliance gaps and align designs with engineering standards and SOPs Develop test methods, verification & validation (V&V), and technical documentation Communicate technical challenges, risks, and solutions to project stakeholders Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and integration teams Qualifications (Required): Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 4+ years of experience (7-10 years preferred) in hands-on electrical design Experience with implantable medical devices and testing Strong expertise in PCB layout, circuit design, and system-level engineering Proven experience in debugging, failure analysis, and design ownership Excellent communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills Preferred: Experience with Altium, LTspice Knowledge of IEC 14708, IEC 45502, IEC 60601 standards Background in design controls, FMEA, and validation testing Additional Details: Up to 10% local travel required Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance If you're a hands-on engineer who owns your designs and thrives in a fast-paced environment, click "Apply Now" today!
