We are seeking a part-time (32 hour) Registered Nurse to support our Portsmouth practice located at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801. This position follows a four-day schedule from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with Tuesdays off, and includes one remote workday per week; the specific remote day will be determined based on operational needs.
The Registered Nurse will be primarily dedicated to phone triage, managing patient interactions via telephone and providing clinical guidance in accordance with established protocols. Responsibilities include assessing patient concerns, coordinating appropriate care and disposition, and supporting vaccine administration when needed. Calls may relate to a variety of patient needs, including symptom concerns, appointment coordination, pre- and post-procedure questions, urgent care needs, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and communication of test results. In addition to triage responsibilities, the RN will occasionally provide direct patient care related to Nonstress Testing.

Essential Functions
-Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
-Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
-Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
-Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
-Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
-Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
No

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required

Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required and Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
