Manufacturing Engineer II

Kaba Mas LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II based in Lexington, KY. The Manufacturing Engineer II contributes to ensuring production performance and process quality within the manufacturing environment by leading investigations, supporting legacy production and new product launches, and driving continuous improvement projects.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $95,000 - $105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

• Assist in process development and documentation for new product launches, engineering changes, and pilot runs; challenge includes meeting launch deadlines while maintaining production flow.

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities for complex manufacturing and quality issues, using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive improvement recommendations, and monitor effectiveness of implemented solutions
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material and component quality, addressing issues and supporting corrective actions as needed

• Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to support ongoing improvements and align with operational goals; challenge includes managing stakeholder expectations and communication flow.

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering role
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
• Must be available to travel a few times per year to Indianapolis, IN
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or similar quality software)
• Due to our government contract, applicants must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.

• Master's degree in engineering or a related field
• Experience with supplier quality management and auditing
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, or other relevant quality management systems
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, etc.)
• Experience with product lifecycle management processes
