Openshift Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Ops Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Deploying products and working in a container platform
• Debugging/triaging user issues ranging from simple UI/permission problems to complex model aggregation/grouping behavior
• Moving/ingesting data between systems and integrating via APIs
• Writing scripts and automating tasks; working with and manipulating data

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an engineering capacity (not operations or support) with L3 ownership expectations
• Experience with containerized applications and platforms
• Scripting experience in languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Ability to build, troubleshoot, and drive solutions effectively

Desired skills:

• Experience with Watson AIOps
• Knowledge of OpenShift navigation and containerized application understanding
• Familiarity with AI/Copilot for solution development

Pay range: $60.42 - $68.42 per hour
