Genesis10 is currently seeking a Program/Portfolio Reporting Analyst for a 6+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC.

Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Analytics. You will consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking. The Program/Portfolio Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in enabling transparency, informed decision making, and effective governance across large, multi workstream programs. This role is responsible for developing enterprise grade reporting, delivering meaningful insights, and ensuring alignment across business, technology, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks that track milestones, progress, financials, risks, and dependencies across complex portfolios
  • Design dashboards and analytical summaries integrating delivery metrics, operational KPIs, and value realization indicators
  • Translate large volumes of program data into clear, executive ready insights such as status summaries, health assessments, and scenario based forecasts
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with established governance standards
  • Support the setup and execution of governance routines, including steering committees, operational reviews, dependency discussions, and risk escalation forums
  • Maintain standardized templates, portfolio taxonomies, intake artifacts, and prioritization tools
  • Promote consistent adoption of lifecycle standards, change management expectations, and enterprise delivery frameworks
  • Partner with business sponsors, product owners, engineering leaders, process teams, and analytics partners to gather inputs and validate portfolio data
  • Facilitate alignment between workstreams, ensuring risks, blockers, and interdependencies are captured, communicated, and addressed
  • Provide clear, concise communication to support effective decision making by senior leaders and program executives
  • Track and manage portfolio-level risks and issues, ensuring appropriate categorization, mitigation planning, and remediation timelines
  • Identify cross initiative dependencies and proactively raise items requiring leadership attention
  • Present risks and issues in a structured, data driven format to relevant governance bodies
  • Support assessment of the business value generated by program outcomes including efficiency gains, cost reductions, capacity creation, experience enhancements, and operational improvements
  • Build projections, scenario analyses, and forward looking insights to support strategic planning
  • Contribute to enterprise reporting efforts that connect delivery performance to long term transformation goals
  • Leverage enterprise reporting tools and analytics platforms to automate, scale, and enhance reporting processes
  • Collaborate with technology teams to improve telemetry, data pipelines, and analytics capabilities within the portfolio
  • Maintain metadata consistency, portfolio lineage, and standardized reporting practices

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience in program reporting, portfolio analytics, PMO reporting, business analysis, or a related field
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and synthesize insights for operational and executive audiences
  • Strong proficiency with reporting and visualization tools
  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-team initiatives or transformation programs
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights

Desired skills:

  • Experience with operational, digital, AI-driven, or automation-focused transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with enterprise governance structures, PMO methodologies, and portfolio management frameworks
  • Background in analytics, process engineering, or data-driven continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and support prioritization and strategic decision-making
  • Experience building scalable reporting frameworks that enhance transparency and inform enterprise decision processes

Pay range: $78.00 - $88.00 per hour
