The Gaming Platform team builds foundational hardware, software and operating system platform capabilities that power gaming experiences across console, PC, and cloud.

We're looking for a Product Manager to be part of a PM team leading platform innovations across Xbox Console, PC, Cloud, and Windows. You will define the product strategy and orchestrate execution across engineering, design, and partner teams. From vision to launch, you'll drive alignment, velocity, and impact.



Responsibilities
  • Developing Technical Product Strategies: Identify customer needs, analyzing trends, combining your technical expertise with your product knowledge, and develop product roadmaps that align with Xbox's vision and strategy

  • Execute on Product Development: Author clear, technically grounded product and requirements documents that remove ambiguity and enable engineering teams to execute with confidence. Additionally, conducting internal testing, A/B testing, and analyze production data to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of features

  • Partner with internal platform teams: Partner with cross-functional, internal and external teams and game developers to ensure platform behaviors are reliable, predictable, and welldocumented

  • Delivering High-quality Results: Meet customer needs and schedule while ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability

  • Clear Communication: Communicate the product vision, value proposition, and roadmaps to internal and external teams to gaming, including senior leadership


Qualifications

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
  • Strong technical background and solid foundation in hardware, software and operating system engineering principles
  • Experience in game development and/or consumer electronics industries
  • Proven experience in defining, planning and executing on complex partner facing initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication


Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
