Description We are seeking an experienced Endpoint (Desktop) Engineer for a full-time onsite role in De Pere, WI. The ideal candidate has strong MECM/SCCM experience, M365 (especially SharePoint), and PowerShell automation skills. Exposure to Google Workspace is a plus. The environment includes approximately 3,000 endpoints (500 laptops, 800 desktops, and POS system. Role Overview The End User Technology Engineer designs, implements, and supports all end user technologies across the organization. This includes developing hardware/software standards, engineering secure images, managing software deployments and patching, and overseeing full device lifecycle management. The role also administers key IT support tools, ensures secure and efficient delivery of desktop and mobile solutions, and serves as a primary escalation point for the Service Desk. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for the overall design, strategy, delivery, and maintenance of end user technology * Provide innovative, costeffective solutions to enhance reliability, efficiency, and integration of end user services * Evaluate and define hardware and software standards * Manage end user software distribution and lifecycle across multiple operating systems * Serve as a Level 2 escalation point for Service Desk technicians * Mentor and coach Service Desk team members to support skill growth and accountability * Identify and manage KPIs to ensure optimal end user technology performance * Create, test, and maintain workstation and mobile device images * Test, evaluate, package, and deploy software and patches for Windows and mobile endpoints * Diagnose and resolve system defects, errors, and functional inconsistencies * Perform system upgrades, routine maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting * Gather and act on customer feedback to improve future technical solutions * Package, test, and deploy software using MECM/SCCM or Intune * Create and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for Windows OS security and configuration * Manage Apple Business Manager and Intune configurations for macOS devices * Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency * Provide expert consultation on end user hardware and software standards * Configure and manage the organization's SharePoint Online environment * Participate in the IT oncall rotation, including afterhours support and occasional travel * Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Skills MECM, SCCM, M365, O365, Microsoft, PowerShell, SharePoint, Google Workspace, SOTI, Intune Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 8+ years of progressive Service Desk and/or End User Technology engineering experience * Expert experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows and macOS desktop environments * 5+ years MECM/SCCM experience with software distribution, imaging, and patch management * 5+ years Intune / modern workspace experience * 3+ years SharePoint Online or Google Drive experience * 3+ years working with MDM solutions * Strong automation skills, including proficiency with PowerShell scripting * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong decision-making, problemsolving, diagnostics, and technical troubleshooting ability Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of De Pere, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
