Security Officer - Emergency Dispatch

As a Security Officer - Emergency Dispatch in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor cameras and alarm systems, coordinate officer response, manage radio and phone communications, and document security-related activity with clear, timely reports. You will help maintain a visible, professional presence by supporting patrol coverage and access control needs, while delivering customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor alarm panels, CCTV, access control, and other monitoring systems; dispatch officers and/or notify site contacts and emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating resources.
• Maintain clear radio, phone, and email communications; document shift activity, dispatch actions, incidents, and equipment issues in logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and the perimeter when assigned; report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
