As a Security Officer Armed Hospital Patrol in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and key areas, observing for unusual conditions, assisting with wayfinding, and supporting staff with visitor management as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, suspicious persons, and/or property concerns, and coordinate with clinical staff and local responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activity in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Valid Firearms Permit preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
