As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with shoppers, store teams, and responders, document observations, and support operations through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements are required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store associates by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, back-of-house corridors, and exterior perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious or unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and take appropriate action to help to deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services, and completing required notifications.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and/or access control checks as assigned, and communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
