As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badging, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and provide responsive customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the commercial property by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor sign-in procedures, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership per protocol.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, document observations, and assist with monitoring security-related systems such as cameras, access control, and fire and/or intrusion panels as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card/license is preferred.
• Having access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
