Job Description:

Microchip's Reliability Physics Engineering team is seeking to hire an Intern to support new products to market. Based in our Chandler headquarters, you would be part of the Reliability Physics Engineering team tasked with supporting products from multiple business units worldwide.

• Responsibilities include implementing Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning based algorithms to support Microchip's most advanced products.
• Developing tools for smart search from documents and reports.
• Smart data analysis & trend prediction from historical data from these reports.
• Generating summary reports based on selected documents with appropriate filtering.
• Developing lab automation software to enhance reliability testing capability for power device qualification.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be actively enrolled in a university degree program.
• Strong background in programing languages especially Python is required.
• Strong background in AI/ML is required.
• Good problem-solving skills are desired.
• Documentation of work performed is required.
• Self-motivated and able to take full responsibility for solutions.
• Strong communication and team-work skills needed.
• Must adhere to Microchips guiding values.
• Limited travel: 10% or less.
