Position Summary
The Patient Services Coordinator at Intrafusion Holding Corp. is responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients by managing administrative tasks, coordinating appointments, and serving as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries.

Compensation: The target rate for this role is between $23 and $24 an hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone.

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate entry into the electronic health record (EHR) system.

  • Collect and verify patient demographic information, insurance details, and medical history, maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Process patient registrations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently, including collecting co-pays and outstanding balances.

  • Answer patient questions regarding services, appointments, billing, and general inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information or directing them to appropriate personnel.

  • Manage incoming calls, faxes, and emails, prioritizing and responding promptly.

  • Prepare and organize patient charts and other necessary documentation for appointments.

  • Liaise with clinical staff, insurance companies, and other departments to facilitate patient care and resolve issues.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the facility.

Minimum Requirement

Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certification in medical office administration preferred.

Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient-facing role within a healthcare setting.

  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

  • Customer service-oriented with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient interactions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
