What makes this role important at Ipsos?

The Product Testing Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for verifying that products shipped to testers meet all specified quality and material standards. Working out of our shipping partner's warehouse in BENSENVILLE, ILLINOIS the specialist will collaborate with our vendor to maintain high standards of product integrity.

What you can expect to be doing:

Conduct Quality Assurance Checks: Ensure quality and prevent mistakes in products and materials shipped by Lion Logistics.
Operational Testing: Execute in-person reviews on OPT/CLT studies as per Ipsos requirements.
Job Spec Familiarization: Thoroughly review the job specifications in the portal to understand the requirements and compliance standards.
Environmental Assessment: Evaluate packing procedures to ensure that products are packed in a clean and appropriate environment.
Material Verification: Inspect materials for each group to ensure they are consistent with the client and project specifications.
Random Sampling Review: Perform random sample checks against client specifications to confirm correct and accurate mailing.
Discrepancy Reporting: Notify vendors promptly about any discrepancies or quality issues identified during the review.
Standard Operating Procedures: Understand SOPs and help to keep them maintained.
Bi-annual Review: Collaborate with Ipsos Project Management team to conduct a vendor review with the key staff twice a year.

Working Hours: 25 to 34 hours per week.
Location: Bensenville, Illinois
Reliable transportation required - the work location is not accessible by public transit.

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience in quality control or similar roles is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with logistics partners.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving, on occasion under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility with schedule requirements.
  • Must successfully complete a background check
