Overview

This position provides leadership and development for the sales support teams. Responsible for sales support, servicing and portfolio management, operational issues, and other sales support functions. Serves as a multi-regional resource on business services support initiatives. Manages risk by monitoring support processes for operational and regulatory compliance. Identifies workflow inefficiencies and develops solutions to uphold performance and service standards within support functions.


Responsibilities

  • Business Support - Manages a team that provides sales support to sales associates, commercial and business bankers. Ensures high levels of service and that quality standards are upheld. Handles complex client operational issues as needed.
  • Risk Management - Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Manages risk related to operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions.
  • Training - Trains sales support teams on required business services documentation, government and bank regulations, and exception clearing practices. Partners with regional leadership on training initiatives and projects.
  • Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing sales and professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial banking, business banking, including manager role OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial banking, business banking, including manager role

License or Certification Type: Must possess a valid driver's license. Position may require frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc. Bank car not provided. RequiredSkill(s): Business acumen
