Primary Purpose
Ensures accurate and timely execution of warehouse activities by guiding team efforts and maintaining adherence to safety and operational standards.

Oversees a frontline operations warehouse team responsible for inventory accuracy, material movement, and maintaining compliance with company safety standards. Based at the Port Arthur, Texas site, this position works closely with Materials Management, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment across warehouse activities, field support, and SAP-driven processes. Serves as the operational link between internal stakeholders, field crews, and leadership, ensuring efficient material availability and reliable service delivery across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the creation, staging, and accuracy of material kits, ensuring all components are properly assembled in SAP and physically prepared to support maintenance and operational work orders.
• Collaborates closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, resolve inventory discrepancies, and ensure alignment with service-level expectations.
• Utilizes SAP reporting tools such as MB52, MD04, and ME2M to monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment needs.
• Oversees day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Assigns tasks and monitors progress to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
• Reviews inventory reports and resolves discrepancies promptly.
• Provides coaching and on-the-job training for team members.
• Ensures proper use and maintenance of material-handling equipment.
• Communicates priorities and operational updates to staff clearly.
• Tracks performance metrics and reports results to management.
• Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Typically requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

• Typically requires 3 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Warehouse Operations Management - Overseeing operations in a warehouse, including receiving, tracking, and storing inventory.
• Inventory Control - Monitors the assets the organizations owns to track and analyze issues such as physical location, maintenance requirements, depreciation, performance, and eventual disposal of the asset.
• Inventory and Materials Management - Skill in managing inventory levels, procurement processes, and logistics to ensure the availability of necessary resources and reduce waste.
• Materials Management - The planning, procurement, storing and distribution of materials to ensure materials are available as required to meet production schedules.
• Supply Chain Management System - Managing a comprehensive framework and set of processes that oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of all activities involved in the flow of goods, services, information, and finances from the point of origin to the final destination, with the goal of optimizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Safety and Compliance - Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to industry standards.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems - The process of making data accessible to all employees within an organization, regardless of their technical expertise, to enable informed decision-making.
• Documentation & Records Management - Creating, distributing, using, maintaining and disposition of recorded information maintained as evidence of business activities and transactions.
• Problem Solving - A systematic approach to solving a problem.
• Process Optimization - Enhancing operational efficiency by redesigning processes and identifying technologies that reduce energy consumption and operational costs.

Licenses and Certifications

• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required.

OFFICE: Work onsite at a company facility due to the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the position.

$82,000.00 - $130,000.00 / year
