Primary Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the distribution of our workforce to ensure proper workflow and maintain timely shift departure.

  • Responsible for providing adequate work to designated areas.

  • Responsible for helping to keep the Warehouse Supervisors informed of information necessary to run the warehouse in a proficient manner.

  • Performing warehouse functions as necessary to ensure the warehouse operation completes each day's work assignments.

  • Ability to exceed Production, Utilization, and Quality goals in assigned areas.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 2-5 experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or shipping/receiving environment preferred.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software and systems.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral as wells as and a commitment to teamwork.

Physical Requirements (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing):

  • Able to select, lift, and carry objects (up to 20 - 25 lbs.) on a regular basis.

  • Operate pallet jack, hand truck, or dolly.

  • Safe operation of a box cutter to cut cases of product.

  • Extensive walking and standing (8+ hours/day)

  • Requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping.

  • Use of step ladder to reach product.

Critical Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, coach, and direct the work of others and promote.

  • Identify training opportunities.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral as wells as a commitment to teamwork.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
