As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flows, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests while documenting observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, labs, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting irregular conditions and reporting them through established channels.
• Monitor access control points and key locations using security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and visitor management tools, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, support access credential requests as assigned, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders when escalation is needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
