POSITION SUMMARY: The Coding Denial and Edit Analyst provides coding and analytical support to the CDCI Department by identifying accounts suspended from billing or denied due to documentation, coding, and/or clinical reasons, analyzing identified accounts to determine the reason for suspension or denial, correcting accounts based on department work load organization, and maintaining reports summarizing the issues and their financial impact. Position: SE-HIM Revenue Coordinator Department: Clinical Documentation Schedule: Full Time JOB REQUIREMENT EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P preferred. EXPERIENCE: Requires at least two years of experience in medical records coding or strong coding certification with strong experience in patient financial services. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Compensation Range: $25.17- $37.39This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
