Description
MidFirst Bank's Legal Department is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable individual to provide comprehensive administrative, organizational, and project support to a team of five attorneys. The Legal Projects Manager will help manage intake and prioritization of requests for attorney feedback, coordinate and assist with projects across diverse subject areas, and ensure timely followthrough on matters relating to employment law, bank regulatory and legislative priorities, compliance and risk management, BSA/AML, fraud, consumer banking, and marketing. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, organizational, and substantive support to five attorneys
- Assist with intake, triage, and prioritization of incoming legal requests
- Maintain tracking and monitoring systems for new and recurring matters and projects
- Coordinate responsibilities, follow up and collaborate as needed among multiple attorneys within the Legal Department
- For larger, more complex matters, assist with process and project management
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and industry developments
- Prepare summaries, background materials, and initial drafts
- Conduct light legal and factual research
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Assist with document drafting and version control
- Support preparation of reports and materials
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, workflows, and task lists
- Coordinate meetings and followup items
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications Required:
- College degree required; commensurate experience will be considered
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks
- Exemplary writing skills; must be able to independently produce organized, accurate, clear and concise written documentation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and use of judgment
- High degree of professionalism and discretion
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills

- Experience as a legal assistant, executive assistant, administrative support professional or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience in financial services, banking, compliance, risk management or regulatory environments
- Experience with independently writing / drafting documents for review by others
- Understanding of legal terminology relevant to employment law, regulation, BSA/AML, and/or consumer banking
- Experience with light research or regulatory/legislative review
