HDR, Inc is adding an Enterprise GIS Administrator to join our Applied Technology Office. In the role of Enterprise GIS Administrator, you will serve as a core member of the Geospatial Center of Excellence at HDR. We'll count on you to:

Responsibilities
*Maintain cloud and on-premise Enterprise GIS infrastructure including application-level updates to existing deployments, planning and executing migrations, as well as installation/configuration of new deployments in cloud environments including Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Google Cloud.
*Act as an administrator and advisor for HDR's ArcGIS Online Tennant and ArcGIS Enterprise deployments.
*Participate in change management, resource planning, and architectural roadmap activities in coordination with HDR's Global Technology Group and Corporate Technology stakeholders.
*Provide user support for license management, application installation, and general geospatial software inquiries.
*Coordinate with vendors to ensure successful implementation and maximum utilization of geospatial technologies within HDR.
*Shape the future of Geospatial technology at HDR by serving as a technical resource to the Geospatial Center of Excellence and supporting Geospatial Cross-Sector initiatives and activities.

Preferred Qualifications
*Passion for geospatial technologies
*Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused AEC environment
*Interest or experience in virtualization, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code especially as it relates to geospatial infrastructure.
*Use of, and automation of, tools like Backup My Org from GeoJobe.
*Actively exploring related industry-wide AI and automation capabilities.
*Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
*Minimum 5 years practical experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise in single and multi-machine deployments
*Minimum 3 years practical experience managing large ArcGIS Online tenants
*Experience in coordination with vendors
*Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work with a remote team across multiple time-zones
*Good written and oral communication skills

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related technical area, or the relevant combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with administration and support of technology systems
  • Experience on project design and implementation of infrastructure systems
  • Proficiency in Sys Admin II function
  • In-depth technical knowledge of network and systems architectures and technologies
  • Ability to develop innovative ideas for generating new approaches to solve problems
  • Ability to gather technical requirements and translate into technology solutions
  • Excellent client services and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate needs and new ideas with users and management
  • Ability to write technology evaluations and make recommendations to management
  • Ability to work with vendors to request service and work through defective product issues
  • Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
