Operational Accounting Assistant Location: Concord, CA (100% Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Training hours for first 2 weeks: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM) Assignment Length: 4 months (with potential extension) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Operational Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and transaction research activities in a fast-paced office environment. This role is ideal for early-career accounting or data-focused candidates who thrive in multitasking environments and are comfortable navigating multiple screens and applications. Key Responsibilities * Research and validate financial transactions across multiple internal systems * Accurately input and update basic accounting and financial information * Utilize several applications and dual/multi-screen setups to review and reconcile data * Perform posting of accounts and offsets * Support operational accounting functions as needed Must-Have Skills & Experience * 1-2 years of experience in accounting support, data entry, or financial operations * Excellent typing skills and strong 10-key proficiency * Ability to work and toggle efficiently across multiple screens and applications * Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel * Strong attention to detail and research skills * Basic understanding of accounting principles * Previous banking experience is strongly preferred Nice-to-Have Skills * Experience as an Accounting Assistant, Data Analyst, Junior Data Analyst, or Financial Data Analyst * Familiarity with transactional research workflows Work Environment * 100% onsite role in a professional office environment * Standard business hours Monday-Friday * Supportive training period for initial onboarding Employee Value Proposition * Opportunity to gain experience with a leading financial institution * Collaborative environment with hands-on training * Potential for assignment extension based on performance and business needs Commitment Requirement Candidates must be committed to the full 4month assignment.
