Critical Environment Technician - Level 3 Location: Dulles, VA Schedule: Flexible shifts (12hour, rotating, 3/4/5day workweeks) About the Role We're looking for a highly skilled Critical Environment Technician to support operations in a highavailability, missioncritical facility. This role is ideal for a technician who thrives in fastpaced environments, understands the importance of redundancy and uptime, and is ready to take ownership of complex mechanical and electrical systems. You'll work handson with chilled water systems, CRAH units, electrical infrastructure, and building management systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation. What You'll Do * Execute all tasks outlined in CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities. * Perform Method of Procedure (MOP) tasks for: * Chiller systems * Chilled water pumps * Computerroom air handlers (CRAH) * All performed under "N" level redundancy conditions. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain building management and EPMS systems. * Support electrical system operations in highavailability environments such as data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing facilities. * Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, documentation standards, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure uptime, reliability, and operational excellence. What You Bring * Required: OSHA or OSHAapproved NFPA 70E Certification. * Required: 5+ years of handson experience in technical fields (electrical, controls, automotive, data center, or similar). * Required: Experience working with electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments. * Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. * Required: Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12hour or rotating shifts. * Required: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. * Preferred: EPA Refrigerant License. * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, redundancy concepts, and safety protocols. * Ability to follow detailed MOPs and respond effectively in highpressure situations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dulles, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
