Position Overview

As the Manager, Project Controls for North America. Your key function will be to support the efficient delivery of Vantage Data Center Portfolio by the organization of data, implementation of scalable processes and the use of professional tools. In this role, you will lead, collaborate, negotiate, and communicate to identify areas for improvement, development of plans, processes and execute changes. This includes supporting project budgets and schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.

This role is based fully remote in the US.

Vantage is hiring a Manager, Project Controls to lead project controls efforts across multiple development projects. This role will oversee scheduling, cost estimating, change management, and reporting functions, ensuring alignment with global standards and supporting project delivery teams.

Essential Job Functions

Programmatic Support:

  • Manage schedule and cost databases for assigned projects.

  • Ensure consistent use of WBS, CBS, and SOV structures.

  • Provide schedule and cost deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting:

  • Develop project-level dashboards and reports.

  • Lead month-end forecasting and variance analysis.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of risk exposure and progress metrics.

Change Management:

  • Implement change management workflows and documentation.

  • Evaluate design and construction changes for cost/schedule impact.

  • Maintain historical data for future benchmarking.

Development Projects:

  • Oversee schedule development and updates across lifecycle stages.

  • Ensure contractor compliance with project controls standards.

  • Partner with estimating and finance teams to improve forecasting accuracy.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or certification as Project Controls Manager or equivalent recommended.

Experience:

* 5 years of experience in project controls management required 5 to 7 years preferred.

* Experience in P6 software and interface with accounting software like Yardi and Anaplan strongly preferred.

Skills:

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Understanding general project controls technical skills and the integration of all of the components including organizational, planning, accounting, analysis and revision process areas.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Travel required is expected to be up to 25-50% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

* Salary Range: $140,000-150,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

* This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

* Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
