Description

    Evaluating, troubleshooting, and developing solutions for various communications systems
  • Performing leadership and mentor skills
  • Performing testing of C4ISR products and equipment
  • Providing technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
  • Establishing procedures for the maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment including cable diagrams, equipment schematics and configurations to support various systems arrangements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and two plus years of experience or six plus total years of experience
  • 2-4 years of experience with military communications
  • 2-4 years of experience with test equipment


Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of military communications (HF, UHF, SHF, EHF) systems
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for various communications systems
  • Knowledge of trouble shooting and operation of C4I and C5ISR equipment
  • Proficient in the use of Interactive Testing Procedures (ITP)
  • Proficient in the operation and use of various test equipment
    • CMA-180, Anrtisu, Megger, Site Maser, Fiber Tester, TDR, O-Scope, RF Generator, and Mulit-Meter
  • Technical writing experience
  • Knowledge of SOVT processes
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, ETC
  • Experience performing testing of C4I and C5ISR systems and equipment
  • Experience developing test procedures
  • Experience providing technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
  • Experience establishing procedures for the maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment including cable diagrams, equipment schematics and configurations to support various systems arrangements
  • Willing to perform functional analysis, testing, and test development of shipboard systems


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY



Travel Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel 50 percent of the year
  • Must be willing to travel up to 3-7 weeks at a time
