Position Overview

TheSeniorContent Strategist & Editor-in-Chiefwill be a member of the Identity, Amplification, and Communications (IAC) team, reporting to the Director, IAC The ideal candidate is a seniorhands-onindividual contributorwho sets editorial direction and delivers anAI-enabled, multichannelcontent strategy across digital, multimedia, and editorial formats. You ensure our content is clear, consistent, and authoritative forboth human audiences and LLMs, and youestablisha durablered thread(shared narrative + common language) across every channel.As part of this role, you willown the content creation agency relationship, scope, and budgetto scale capacity and quality.

WhatYou'llDo

Editorial direction & content strategy

  • Own the content strategy across the customer journey (awarenessthruadoption) and key channels (web, social, email, events, campaigns).

  • Set editorial standards (voice, accuracy, governance) and keep quality high across all assets.

  • Establish andmaintaintheredthread,so teams use consistent language, claims, and proof points-tailored by audience, not reinvented.

AI-first creation & scaling

  • Create and edit high-impact content for senior business and technical audiences (POVs, articles, briefs, case studies, scripts, web experiences).

  • Use AI/LLM workflows to accelerate research, ideation, drafting, repurposing, and localization-with human judgment and accountability.

  • Build "AI-ready" foundations (canonicalsource pages, structured FAQs, proof libraries) that keep derivatives consistent.

Cross-functional orchestration & agency ownership

  • Partner across Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Comms, Brand, Product, and SMEs to source insights and ship integrated programs.

  • Own the content creation agency relationship end-to-end: briefs, scope of work, timelines, reviews, and quality.

  • Own agency budget: forecast spend, track burn vs deliverables/credits, and coordinate contracting/renewals with Procurement/Legal/Finance.

Performance optimization & LLM influence

  • Track and improve content performance (engagement, SEO, conversion influence, answerengine performance) and iterate based on evidence.

  • Design content fordual consumption(humans + LLMs) with clear structure, grounded claims, and stable semantics.

WhatWe'reLooking For

Required

  • 8-10+ years in content strategy/editorial leadership in B2B tech.


  • 12+ years of content strategy, content management, and/or content development

  • University degree completed in a related field. A completed Master's degree will impact years of experience

  • Expert writing/editing with strong editorial judgment and the ability to simplify complex topics.


  • Demonstrated AI/LLM fluency in content workflows (prompting, evaluation, governance, quality control).

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functionally and make decisions without direct authority.

  • Experience owningagency/vendor scope and budget(SOWs, spend tracking, delivery/quality management).

  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics to improve outcomes.

Preferred

  • Experience building scalable content systems (messaging architectures, modular frameworks, editorial playbooks).

  • Prior experience working at amarketing and/or content creation agencyis a plus.

  • Experienceoptimizing formodern discovery (SEO + answer engines) using structured patterns (FAQs, comparisons, decision guides).

  • Comfortoperatingas an editorial "final say" in a matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrated success creating and enforcing acommon language / red-threadnarrative across contributors.

Role Impact

  • You will raise content quality and velocity through responsible AI use, strengthen consistency through a clear red thread, and improve how the company shows up across channelsandLLM-mediated discovery-while scaling execution via strong agency management.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.
NY generally ranges: $164,611-$246,917
CA generally ranges: $171,768-$257,652
All other locations fall under our General State range: $143,140-$214,710
