Project Manager
Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Project Manager for precision medicine projects to work with Drs. Emily Mrig and Akinyemi Oni-Orisan in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy.
Mrig Research Lab Our research lab focuses on the appropriate implementation of molecular diagnostic tests (MDx). We use two approaches: first, we empirically examine payment pathways to MDx access, and second, we identify and characterize the range of institutional resources that best promote access to MDx payment pathways. We use mixed methods to quantify data in electronic health records and qualitatively obtain diverse perspectives through interviews and focus groups.
Oni-Orisan Research Lab Our research lab has two major interests that fall within our overarching research mission. First, we aim to establish pharmacogenetic predictors of statin efficacy and safety. Second, we aim to advance pharmacogenomic discovery and validation in historically-excluded populations. We are primarily a quantitative and computational lab that uses large electronic health record datasets.
The position will conduct a range of project management tasks for both faculty members including: research administration and NIH grant support; interface with various UCSF departments to administer grants, purchase services and supplies, manage research projects and staff/trainee project timelines; schedule project meetings and organize pre- and post-meeting materials; IRB submissions and modifications; study recruitment; and research and writing under supervision of each PI. The incumbent would ideally have 3-5 years of experience within the UC / UCSF System.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,600 (Annual Rate).
