POSITION SUMMARY

Motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to spend 8-weeks (June 8 - July 31) supporting the Development Team contributing to day to day needs as well as key projects during a fast-paced summer program. Assist team with research, data analysis, documentation, and administrative tasks while gaining firsthand industry experience.

Essential Functions



  • The intern will be assigned summer research projects (e.g., target market data analysis, amenity quantification and research, data summaries of historic deals, etc.)
  • Assist with day-to-day project tasks to include:

    • Financial Modeling & Underwriting: Building and updating financial pro formas for prospective developments, analyzing lease terms, and assisting in the underwriting process, if capable.
    • Market Analysis & Research: Conducting detailed market research on trends, demographics, and competitive properties using tools like CoStar or LoopNet to inform development decisions and add to presentation material.
    • Development Feasibility Study: Assisting with analyzing new projects, including site selection, zoning analysis, and preliminary budgeting, as capable.
    • Project Documentation & Reporting: Developing and maintaining project timelines, budgets, and progress reports for ongoing developments.




Skills, Qualifications, Additional Responsibilities



  • Prior internship or summer work experience required.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and adapting quickly to new challenges.


Education & Technical Skills:



  • Working towards a bachelor's degree as a rising junior or senior.
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Compensation Information:

The hourly pay rate is $20.00 per hour. This range is estimated for this role; actual pay may be different.
