We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Security Intern to join our team at
Hexagon US Federal in support of our DoD programs.As a Security Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working within a cleared defense contractor environment, supporting the company's industrial security program in accordance with DoD and DCSA requirements. You will work closely with our Facility Security Officer (FSO), security team, and cross-functional partners to assist with day-to-day security operations and compliance activities.Responsibilities may include supporting personnel security actions, maintaining security records, assisting with visit authorizations and access control processes, helping with SEAD 3 and insider threat reporting requirements, participating in security training initiatives, and contributing to ongoing compliance and process improvement projects. Interns will also gain exposure to areas such as CMMC, classified safeguarding, SCIF operations, and overall security program management.Additionally, interns will participate in a weekly speaker series featuring leaders from across the organization, providing valuable insight into defense contracting, program management, and corporate operations.This internship provides meaningful exposure to the national security and defense contracting environment, offering the opportunity to develop practical skills, expand your professional network, and apply your academic knowledge in a real-world, mission-focused setting.
